An Umtriebsentschädigung is a form of damages under Swiss law that applies to the unlawful use of private property — for example, unauthorised parking on private spaces. It covers the effort the injured party incurs to enforce their rights and typically ranges from CHF 60 to 80. The amount is set by the parking-space owner and may be higher in cases of blocked access, operational disruptions or lost revenue.

With more than 120,000 successfully resolved cases and ongoing cooperation with specialist legal counsel, the process is proven in practice and legally robust for you as the operator.
All data is processed in Switzerland under the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) and used exclusively to handle the specific parking incident. Keeper lookups are performed by the responsible cantonal authority, sensitive information is transmitted in encrypted form and is never shared with uninvolved third parties.
